Thought I'll post this incase anyone didn't know about this event happening tomorrow night at 8pm in the Connexion.

The biggest, most badass Art Jam Sheridan has ever seen has returned.

After a long dry spell for the ConneXion's night events, the pub is kicking things up a notch, starting April off right with the second ever Art Jam.

You want breakdancers? We got 'em. Artists? Try and move an inch without finding 6. Music? You bet your ass we have music!

Most people would easily trade their organs or first borns in payment to attend an event like this. But wait! You lucky folk, you get in for free! Completely. Totally. Free.

Invite everyone you know, help to make this even better than the first one!

Due to seeing quite a few artists from Sheridan here on DA, I've decided to start up a club to unite us all.

The objective of this club/group is to unite all artists (students, grads, etc) from Sheridan College's art programs. We welcome students/artists from any year of any art related program to join. (eg. Animation, Illustration, York-Sheridan Design, Art Fundamentals, Photography, etc.)

So spread the word and tell your fellow classmates and friends about this group. If you'd like to join, please watch us and send us a note or write a deviant message. It would also be nice if you could add our icon to your journal as a club/group. We'll add you to the list as soon as possible.

hey guys, i wrote on this wall earlier this year asking for advice on what program i should take- fundues or V&C arts-. i ended up choosing visual and creative arts because then i can continue with that if something bad happens and i dont get into animation after next year. hopefully i made the right decision. either one is good, but i would go with fundies...VCA is a bit on the theoretical side. and some courses like imaging systems are eliminated.

Art fundies and Visual and Creative Arts are basically the same thing. Neither are better than the other, and you do practically the same things in both programs. I think more of the Art Fundies stuff goes on display throughout the school through...XD

Hey!

I went to Sheridan for Classical Animation between 1996 - 1998, but i got hired out of second year.

I also went to Art Fundies as well, the year before!
